Career
Prof. Dr. Karsch studied computer science at the RWTH Aachen University. Before becoming a professor, he worked as a group leader at debis Information Security Services GmbH (now T-Systems ISS GmbH). The analysis and conceptional design of secure applications and systems, as well as the execution of company-wide risk analyses, were his main tasks.
