First-semester students of our Master program “Computer Science / Information Systems” should have a basic knowledge about ERP systems coming from their undergraduate studies. For those who want to close an ERP’s knowledge gap, there is a possibility to join a ERP crash course.

Classes begin: 6th January 2014, topics are:
– Business Process Modelling
– IT Capabilities for Business Functions
– Foundations of ERP systems
– ERP Application Development
– Integration concepts

MS Dynamics NAV 2013 will be used for exercises
– Demonstration of the Order to Cash Cycle
– Development of small business applications
– Integration demonstration

Dynamics NAV is one of the worldwide leading ERP systems for SMBs. Due to the lower complexity compared to SAP ECC software, it is possible to get a first overview within the crash course which may serve as a foundation for the upcoming project phase. Another addional offering is an SAP-eLearning course that we have developed as bridge course. It covers the most important topics of SAP-related subjects that our undergraduate students of “Business Information Systems” have to learn during their Bachelor’s course (SAP or Business Transactions, SAP Application Development with ABAP).

The ERP crash course and the SAP-eLearning course are both additional offerings outside of the curriculum.
