The course will give an introduction to\u00a0<span id=\"more-660\"><\/span>Topics:<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<ol>defining scientific writing<\/ol>\n<ol>citing in English correctly<\/ol>\n<ol>reading and annotating documents<\/ol>\n<ol>corpus linguistics<\/ol>\n<ol>computer based tools<\/ol>\n<ol>describing research<\/ol>\n<ol>characteristics of scientific writing<\/ol>\n<ol>structure of a paper<\/ol>\n<ol>IT-related vocabulary and styling technical English<\/ol>\n<p>The course will be held in English<br \/>\nPart I<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Friday, 29th Sept 2017; 10:00-14:00, room 2223<\/li>\n<li>Thursday, 05th Oct 2017, 10:00-14:00, room 2223<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Part II week 48.
