German version below)<\/em><\/p>\n<h4>Procedure for Scientific Writing Course and Exam<\/h4>\n<p>Each Guided Project Type A has a component &#8220;Scientific Writing&#8221;. The credits are distributed as such:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>8 CP: software or business related part (the &#8220;B&#8221; part, so to say)<\/li>\n<li>5 CP: team processes \/ coaching part (the &#8220;A&#8221; part)<\/li>\n<li>1 CP:\u00a0Scientific Writing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Scientific writing will be taught once a year, in winter semester. The course material is available <a href=\"https:\/\/ilias.th-koeln.de\/ilias.php?ref_id=1000658&amp;cmd=view&amp;cmdClass=ilrepositorygui&amp;cmdNode=pl&amp;baseClass=ilRepositoryGUI\">in this ILIAS directory<\/a>. Course attendance is voluntary. There is a mandatory oral exam with Profs. Bente and Westenberger, which can be taken twice a year:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Winter semester: immediately after the 2nd part of the Scientific Writing course, usually in November.<\/li>\n<li>Summer semester: in the first exam period, around end of July.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Exception for this semester (SS2017)<\/h4>\n<p>As the first exam period is already (nearly) over, participants in SS17 GP-A projects do have two options:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Prepare by self study. We will offer an exam date in the 2nd exam period (Sep\/Okt, date yet to be announced)<\/li>\n<li>Attend the Scientific Writing course in WS17, and use the exam date then (as of current planning: some time in 27.11.-01.12., \u00a0Profil2 week)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>************************************************************************************************<\/p>\n<p><em>(Deutsche Version)<\/em><\/p>\n<h4>Verfahren f\u00fcr Kurs und Pr\u00fcfung &#8220;Scientific Writing&#8221;<\/h4>\n<p>Jedes Guided Project Typ A hat eine Komponente &#8220;Scientific Writing&#8221;. Die CP verteilen sich wie folgt:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>8 CP: der fachliche (Software \/ Business) Teil (der &#8220;B&#8221;-Teil, sozusagen)<\/li>\n<li>5 CP: Teamprozesse \/ -coaching (der &#8220;A&#8221;-Teil)<\/li>\n<li>1 CP:\u00a0Scientific Writing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Scientific writing wird einmal im Jahr als Kurs angeboten, im Wintersemester. Die Teilnahme am Kurs ist freiwillig. Es gibt eine verpflichtende m\u00fcndliche Pr\u00fcfung mit den Professoren Bente und Westenberger. Diese findet zwei Mal im Jahr statt:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Wintersemester: unmittelbar nach dem zweiten Teil des Scientific-Writing-Kurses, normalerweise im November.<\/li>\n<li>Sommersemester: in der ersten Pr\u00fcfungsphase, um Ende Juli.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Ausnahme f\u00fcr dieses Semester (SS2017)<\/h4>\n<p>Da die erste Pr\u00fcfungsphase (nahezu) vorbei ist, haben die Teilnehmer der SS17-GP-A-Projekte zwei M\u00f6glichkeiten:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Vorbereitung im Selbststudium. Wir werden ein Pr\u00fcfungsdatum in der zweiten Pr\u00fcfungsphase anbieten (Sep\/Okt, genaues Datum wird noch bekanntgegeben)<\/li>\n<li>Teilnahme am Scientific-Writing-Kurs im WS17, und dann die Pr\u00fcfung unmittelbar danach.
