Dezember stattfand: Nachdem Samineh Bagheri zu ihrer Forschungsarbeit aus dem Bereich Online Model Selection und Constrained Optimization vorgetragen hatte, wurde sie als Gewinnerin des Best Student Paper Award auf dieser Konferenz gek&uuml;rt. Ihr Beitrag wurde aus &uuml;ber 400 Arbeiten internationaler Forscher ausgew&auml;hlt. Das hei&szlig;t f&uuml;r uns, <!--more-->dass&nbsp; die Forschungsarbeit der TH K&ouml;ln auf diesem Gebiet eine hohe Anerkennung durch die internationale Community erf&auml;hrt.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tDer Titel ihres Beitrags lautet &quot;<strong>Online Selection of Surrogate Models for Constrained Black-Box Optimization<\/strong>&quot;. Sie hatte kompetente Unterst&uuml;tzung in den Mitautoren des Papers: Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Konen von der TH K&ouml;ln und Prof. Dr. Thomas B&auml;ck von der renommierten Universit&auml;t Leiden in den Niederlanden. Prof. Konen ist am Campus Gummersbach&nbsp; Mitinitiator der Forschungsstelle CIOP (Computational Intelligence und Optimierung) und des Forschungsschwerpunktes CIplus (Computational Intelligence plus), er ist auch Betreuer der Promotionsarbeit von Samineh Bagheri. Prof. B&auml;ck leitet die &ldquo;Natural Computing Research Group&rdquo; am Leiden Institute of Advanced Computer Science (LIACS).
