Abstract:
In Augmented Reality visual inertial SLAM algorithms can be used for detection and tracking of the environment. Android,
having the largest market share of all mobile operating systems, is of special interest as the target platform. For iOS there
already exists one open source solution to that problem: The framework VINS-Mobile, which has been ported to Android in
the course of this work. In this paper we discuss what steps are needed for this and provide a practical guide to porting
such a framework
