The valid solution for constrained optimization&nbsp;problems (COP) lies somewhere in the feasible region which is a sub-set of the input-space. The borders of the feasible area are defined by one or many constraints. Existance of constraints makes the optimization problems more demanding. There are different approaches to handle the constraints but none of them can outperform all others for all different types of COPs.&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<a class=\"thickbox\" href=\"http:\/\/lwibs01.gm.fh-koeln.de\/blogs\/ciop\/files\/2015\/04\/GECCO15.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"806\" height=\"646\" alt=\"GECCO15\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-700\" src=\"http:\/\/lwibs01.gm.fh-koeln.de\/blogs\/ciop\/files\/2015\/04\/GECCO15.png\" style=\"width: 400px;height: 321px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.gm.fh-koeln.de\/ciop\/files\/2015\/04\/GECCO15.png 806w, https:\/\/blogs.gm.fh-koeln.de\/ciop\/files\/2015\/04\/GECCO15-300x240.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 806px) 100vw, 806px\" \/><\/a>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"line-height: 13.8666658401489px\">There are only a few constraint handlers which work on the basis of fixing a good &quot;infeasible solution&quot; and generating feasible solutions by using the information coming from the infeasible candidates. We proposed a new technique to repair infeasible solutions. The correspoding work was accepted as a paper in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sigevo.org\/gecco-2015\/\">GECCO 2015<\/a>.
